Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high quality periodontal care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your health.
During your first visit, Dr. Sims will:
- Review with you your medical and dental history
- Take X-rays of your teeth and mouth as needed
- Perform a comprehensive periodontal and dental examination.
- Develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Thoroughly review and discuss with you all available treatment options.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:
- Your completed patient information form
- Your insurance card
Regular periodontal care is an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
The American Academy of Periodontology recommends visiting your periodontist and dentist for regular checkups, teeth cleaning and periodontal maintenance to maintain your periodontal health.
